I've always been a curious creative with a fascination for human behavior.
There has never been a time where I wasn't creating something. But I was never a true artist. I was more enchanted by why we do what we do and how I could contribute to making it better.
As I mature as a designer and strategic leader, I can confidently say that my purpose is to use my gifts to create solutions that help everyday people.
I started my career as an industrial designer and quickly gained experience across the spectrum of research, design, development, manufacturing, and B2B + B2C markets. After curating a portfolio of hard and soft goods as an industrial designer and product leader, it was time for a pivot.
I launched myself into UI/UX design by joining Finches (a collective of early stage technology platforms with a focus on consumer product and rapid development). I took the product lead on two major projects (Sparrows and Hmmngbrd) with the responsibility of taking an idea from concept to fully developed beta application.
As I look forward, I am excited to pursue opportunities that leave a legacy of human centered solutions.
creative problem solving
explorative research
user testing
synthesizing data
identifying user trends and patterns
strategic planning
setting a vision
big picture thinking
details-driven solutions
leadership + management + mentorship
The driving forces of my time are a need to explore, an urge to create, and a joyfulness in being in community with people. What that practically looks like is taking trips, spending time in the kitchen, starting unnecessary DIY projects, going down a youtube rabbit hole, hiking and camping with friends, and loving every animal that will let me.
Originally from Chicago, I am currently living in San Diego, CA. I am actively pursuing my next professional adventure and I am open to a new location.
