During my time at Sparrows, I designed all of the fundamental pages including Landing page, Sign in/up, Onboarding, Profile, Directory/Search, Groups, Settings, etc.
Here are a few quick snapshot of the work that I did across the site/application.

Sparrows ProfileAt this stage, we agreed that the onboarding process would be a placeholder. Our future projections for Sparrows would inevitable require updating this process.
We set out to assist users in creating quality profiles as quickly as possible. I designed two notable versions of the onboarding. The biggest improvement between these versions was adding real user examples to the prompts to help new users envision was a Sparrows profile could be.
1.
Rapid design turnaround from wireframe to development.
2.
Improved profile completion
from the original MVP to v1 to v2 onboarding.
3.
Improved profile quality
from the original MVP to v1 to v2 onboarding.
The Directory is a collection of all the profiles that you choose to save. The design is intentionally similar to your phone's contact list to encourage sharing and referencing your Directory as a networking tool.
Future projections of the Directory are layered. But this iteration needed to list the users by name, title and company, and the tags you share in common.
1.
Clean and simple design that tested well with users.
2.
Horizontal alphabet carousel proved to be just enough uniqueness without confusing users.
3.
Plenty of room to expand and evolve the Directory in the future.
